Summary
As a Support AME, under the supervision of the Maintenance Production Manager, the successful candidate will maintain, supervise and control the maintenance activities of their respective assigned aircraft in the form of scheduled and unscheduled inspections, defect rectification and AOG support.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Ensure aircraft is maintained in accordance with regulations
- Communicate with Dispatch/Ops for flight details and changes
- Advise on any potential aircraft downtime
- Evaluate service bulletins, airworthiness directives, service letters and SILs
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets
- Daily inspections, including pre- and post-flight activities
- Track maintenance expenses and activities
- Review and validate MSP/Smart Parts/Warranty programs
- Participate in planned heavy maintenance and generate task cards
- Provide AOG support if necessary
- Travel by plane as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Successfully completed a TC approved aircraft maintenance technical training program.
- AME license category M1 & M2 an asset
- 1 to 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Bilingual French & English
- Basic computer skills
Additional requirements and conditions
- Must be available to work as needed during major projects. This includes weekday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (with some flexibility).
- Must possess a valid passport and driver's license.
- Must retain a valid CIZR red badge (ADM YUL badge) for the duration of employment.
- Other assets include: ADM “D/A”, “D/A R” and “D” badges.
- Aircraft towing accreditation (training provided)
