We are currently experiencing an exciting period of international growth and are looking for a highly motivated and team-spirited individual. Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians manage Line Maintenance activities on Air Canada aircraft or customer aircraft as directed by the Chief Engineer – Station, or his delegate. This is a full-time position, based at the Aircraft Maintenance offices, in Terminal 2B of London Heathrow Airport, with free parking. Air Canada offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to demonstrate initiative and make autonomous decisions, particularly in stressful situations.
  • Team spirit, proven communication skills and great customer focus.
  • Ability to write technical descriptions and instructions, as well as fact sheets and reports, in a clear and concise style.
  • Attention to detail and concern for a job well done, to the satisfaction of internal clients.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to coordinate details to successfully achieve the final result.
  • Safety and quality oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Holder of a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license or a CAA or EASA B1/B2 license.

  • A330 (RR Trent), 777 (GE90), A320 CEO/NEO/XLR, 787 (GEnx)/Trent 100 and 737-8 approvals, an asset.
  • We will consider experienced technicians and mechanics, holders of an A license and wishing to progress to an AME position. (Company support will be provided to the selected candidate(s).
  • Line maintenance experience, desirable.
  • Holder of a valid UK or EU driver's license (mandatory).

Conditions of employment:

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country concerned at the time an offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining the necessary work permits, visas or other authorizations. Proof of eligibility must be provided before the start date.

Language Requirements

Good working knowledge of English.
