Job Description

In your duties, you will be called upon to:

  • Interpret plans, specifications, and technical documentation for various industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. (Lathe, milling machine, CNC machine, sheet metal equipment, heat treatment, etc.)
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment using specialized tools.
  • Participate in the design, manufacturing, and optimization of equipment.
  • Perform work, both at heights (aerial work platform, elevated platform) and in confined spaces.
  • Use electric, pneumatic, or manual tools, depending on the operations to be performed.
  • Use measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, vernier calipers, etc.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate:

  • DEC in Industrial Maintenance Technology or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in maintenance on production machines (an asset).
  • Experience in the maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic machines (an asset).
  • Be comfortable working autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
  • You have very good communication skills.
  • You possess good judgment and work well in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Possibility of working varied schedules over 7 days, 24/24 hrs, according to the collective agreement. (Day OR Evening OR Night)

**A competency exam (theoretical and practical) may be required during the hiring process.
