Electronic Technician

Description

Full-time permanent position (37.5 hours) — 4 days per week

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, repair and troubleshooting activities for electronic/electrical systems.
• Conduct functionality tests of electronic/electrical systems.
• Design, as needed, the tools and support equipment required to perform the work.
• Document tasks performed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in electronics (DE, college diploma) or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in assembly, repair and troubleshooting of electronic equipment.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with various electronic tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, detector, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility.
• *Good spoken and written English (asset).
• Available to travel occasionally outside the province.
• Communication skills that support change, problem-solving, mediation and teamwork.
• Knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge).

Assets

• Knowledge of electromechanical systems.
• Good manual dexterity (soldering), meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Programming knowledge.
