Responsibilities

  • Perform and ensure the proper completion of all maintenance activities on aircraft, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
  • Ensure that the aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
  • Ensure that all components are installed on aircraft in accordance with company and Transport Canada regulations;
  • Provide departure and arrival support during aircraft flight operations;
  • Perform tasks according to the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulatory standards;
  • Travel may be required on an occasional basis;
  • Close coordination with crew and the customer to ensure minimal disruption to flight schedules;
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management; adhere to the safety management system policy; maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times;
  • Any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Training and qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada M2 licence;
  • Experience/training on a Gulfstream 650 is an asset and highly desired;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Proven ability to set and meet maintenance deadlines;
  • Minimum of ten (5) years of heavy maintenance experience required;
  • Strong maintenance planning skills and experience using Quantum or an equivalent ERP system is an asset;
  • Experience coordinating and planning ongoing maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to flight schedules;
  • Be a positive representative of Skyservice and strive to deliver;
  • Due to the nature of the role, travel and flexible working hours are required;
  • Attention to detail; positive attitude;
  • Team spirit; good communication skills.
