Responsibilities :- Perform and ensure the successful completion of all aircraft maintenance activities, both in the hangar and on the ramp;
- Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
- Ensure all components are installed on aircraft in accordance with company and Transport Canada regulations;
- Departure and arrival support during aircraft flight operations;
- Perform tasks according to the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulatory standards;
- Travel may be required on an occasional basis;
- Close coordination with the crew and client to ensure minimal disruption to the flight schedule;
- Attend training courses as directed by company management; Adhere to the safety management system policy; Maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times;
- All other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Training and skills :
- Valid Transport Canada M2 license;
- Experience/type course on a Gulfstream 650 is an asset, but highly desired;
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to set and meet maintenance deadlines;
- Minimum of ten (5) years of heavy maintenance experience required;
- Strong maintenance planning skills and use of Quantum or an equivalent ERP system, an asset;
- Experience in coordinating and scheduling ongoing maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to flight schedules;
- Be a positive representation of Skyservice and strive to deliver;
- Due to the nature of the role, travel and flexible working hours are mandatory;
- Must be detail-oriented; Positive attitude;
- Team spirit; Good communication skills.
