Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for a new team member.

Position summary

The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the maintenance plan, responding to service calls and ensuring production equipment operates properly by keeping it in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
  • Complete failure reports.
  • Use a CMMS (search for parts, drawings, work instructions, etc.).
  • Participate in failure analyses.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the maintenance team and other internal departments.
  • Contact manufacturers' technical services when required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
  • Update work procedures and electrical diagrams in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
  • Update lockout/tagout documentation.
  • Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

Profile

  • College diploma in industrial mechanics or equivalent experience (candidate with 10+ years' experience in a similar role).
  • Good manual skills and strong dexterity.
  • Meticulous and precise, good reflexes, ability to concentrate and attention to detail.
  • Analytical ability to quickly find defects or other problems.
  • Sense of responsibility.
