Our Airbus Atlantique site in Mirabel is looking for the following position:

Position summary

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing the established maintenance plan, responding to service calls and ensuring production equipment operates properly by keeping it in optimal condition.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
  • Complete fault reports.
  • Use CMMS software (search for parts, drawings, work orders, etc.).
  • Participate in failure analyses.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the maintenance team and other internal departments.
  • Contact manufacturers' technical support services when needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in the machine maintenance department.
  • Update work procedures and electrical diagrams in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
  • Update lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

Candidate profile / Requirements

  • College diploma in industrial mechanics; candidate with 10 years of experience or more in a similar role.
  • Good manual skills and strong dexterity.
  • Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ability to concentrate and attention to detail.
  • Analytical ability to quickly identify defects or other problems.
  • Sense of responsibility.
