Job Summary
The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the existing maintenance plan, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper functioning of production equipment by keeping them in an optimum state.
Your Challenges
- Diagnosing and resolving any malfunctions on equipment.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
- Completing breakdown reports.
- Using a CMMS software. (Parts search, drawing, work range, etc.)
- Participating in breakdown analyses.
- Exchanging and communicating with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
- Contacting the technical services of various manufacturers, when needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
- Updating work ranges and electrical drawings, in cooperation with the reliability specialist.
- Updating lockout sheets.
- Participating in equipment updates and improvements.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- College diploma in industrial technology/mechanics, experienced candidate with 10 years or more in a similar position.
- Good manual skills and very good dexterity.
- Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration, and attention to detail.
- Analytical capacity to quickly find a defect or any other problem.
- Sense of responsibility.
