Job Summary
The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the maintenance plan in place, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper functioning of production equipment by keeping it in optimal condition.
Your Challenges
Diagnose and resolve any malfunctions on equipment.
Perform preventive and curative maintenance interventions.
Fill out breakdown reports.
Use CMMS software. (Part search, plan, work range, etc.)
Participate in breakdown analyses.
Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
Contact the technical services of various manufacturers, if necessary.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
Update work ranges and electrical plans, in cooperation with the reliability engineer.
Update lockout tags.
Participate in equipment updates and improvements.
REQUIRED PROFILE
College diploma in industrial mechanics, candidate with 10 years or more of experience in a similar position.
Good manual skills and very good dexterity.
Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration, and attention to detail.
Analytical ability to quickly find a defect or any other problem.
Sense of responsibility.
