Job Summary

The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the existing maintenance plan, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper functioning of production equipment by keeping them in optimal condition.

Your Challenges

  • Diagnose and resolve any malfunctions on equipment.

  • Carry out preventive and curative maintenance interventions.

  • Fill out breakdown reports.

  • Use a CMMS software (Search for parts, drawings, working ranges, etc.).

  • Participate in breakdown analyses.

  • Exchange and communicate with the maintenance team and various internal departments.

  • Contact the technical departments of various manufacturers, if necessary.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.

  • Update working ranges and electrical diagrams, in cooperation with the reliability engineer.

  • Update lockout-tagout sheets.

  • Participate in equipment updates and improvements.

PROFILE SOUGHT

  • College diploma in industrial mechanics, candidate with 10 years or more of experience in a similar position.

  • Good manual skills and very good dexterity.

  • Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration, and attention to detail.

  • Analytical ability to quickly find a defect or any other problem.

  • Sense of responsibility.
