Job Summary
The mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for executing the existing maintenance plan, responding to service calls, and ensuring the proper functioning of production equipment by keeping it in optimal condition
Your Challenges
- Diagnosing and resolving any equipment malfunctions.
- Performing preventive and curative maintenance interventions.
- Filling out breakdown reports.
- Using a CMMS software (Searching for parts, drawings, work instructions, etc.).
- Participating in breakdown analyses.
- Exchanging and communicating with the maintenance team and various internal departments.
- Contacting the technical services of various manufacturers when needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the machine maintenance department.
- Updating work instructions and electrical drawings, in cooperation with the reliability specialist.
- Updating lockout/tagout sheets.
- Participating in equipment updates and improvements.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- College diploma in industrial mechanics, or a candidate with 10 or more years of experience in a similar position.
- Good manual skills and very good dexterity.
- Meticulousness and precision, good reflexes, ease of concentration, and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills to quickly find a defect or any other problem.
- Sense of responsibility.
