Responsibilities
- Detect problems with aircraft structural systems and adjust and repair these systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and other current procedures;
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural systems, manufacture, assemble and machine aluminum and composite parts;
- Perform routine maintenance and report on it;
- Inform the supervisor of irregularities in work tasks;
- Ensure that work is performed according to Nolinor Aviation quality standards, policies and procedures and applicable regulations;
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure that work is performed according to the schedule;
- Ensure that the workplace is clean and safe at all times;
- Promote the quality management system and make suggestions for improvement;
- Adhere to and apply safety policies;
- Collaborate on various innovative and stimulating projects;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Desired skills
- You have a DEP in aerospace structural assembly and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (an asset);
- You are able to understand and work from technical drawings as well as other written instructions or design specifications;
- You have mathematical knowledge and an analytical mind, as well as the ability to demonstrate precision at a high level of quality and foresight;
- You are familiar with a variety of pneumatic, manual and sheet metal tools;
- You have excellent judgment and strong attention to detail;
- Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
- You are fluent in French (oral and written) and have a good knowledge of English to understand technical manuals.
