Responsibilities
- Detect problems in aircraft structural systems and adjust and repair these systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and other current procedures;
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural systems, manufacture, assemble and machine aluminum and composite parts;
- Perform routine maintenance and report on it;
- Inform the supervisor of irregularities in work tasks;
- Ensure that work is carried out according to quality standards, Nolinor Aviation policies and procedures, and applicable regulations;
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure work is completed on schedule;
- Ensure the workplace is clean and safe at all times;
- Promote the quality management system and suggest improvements;
- Adhere to and apply safety policies;
- Collaborate on various innovative and challenging projects;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Desired Skills
You are the ideal person if:
- You have a DEP in aerospace structure assembly and 1-3 years of relevant experience (an asset);
- You can understand and work from technical drawings as well as other written instructions or design specifications;
- You have mathematical knowledge and an analytical mind, as well as the ability to demonstrate precision at a high level of quality and foresight;
- You are familiar with a variety of pneumatic, manual, and sheet metal tools;
- You have excellent judgment and strong attention to detail;
- Fluency in English, both oral and written;
- Fluency in French (an asset).
