The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of railway equipment. They ensure the proper functioning and safety of trains by performing inspections, repairs, and tests in accordance with established standards
Responsibilities
- You will perform preventive maintenance for railway equipment
- You will perform and document routine maintenance repairs on trains
- You will repair and install train parts,
- You will review and/or draw up defect lists and correct them with the supervisor's approval, and complete all documentation;
- You will perform combined tests to commission trains;
- You will provide support during quarterly tests and more;
- Any other tasks that may be requested by the supervisor
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in electromechanics
- Experience in heavy machinery maintenance will be considered an asset;
- Flexibility on all shifts (day, evening, night), mandatory
- Hold a Class 5 driver's license, an asset;
- Bilingualism (French - English) oral and written is an important asset for communication in the client site's multilingual environment and technical documentation.
