Job Description
Inspection and diagnosis:
- Perform regular inspections of avionics systems, including radars, radios, navigation systems, and flight instruments.
- Diagnose faults or issues on the aircraft's electrical and electronic components.
Maintenance and repair:
- Repair or replace defective parts of avionics systems, such as wiring, sensors, antennas, and other components.
- Test systems after repair to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform software updates and equipment calibrations.
Installation of new systems:
- Install new or modernized avionics equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations.
- Configure and adjust avionics systems to ensure seamless integration.
Documentation and compliance:
- Keep maintenance records up to date for each aircraft, including interventions performed, tests, and replaced parts.
- Ensure all maintenance operations comply with aviation safety standards and aeronautical authority regulations.
Pre-flight tests and checks:
- Collaborate with pilots and maintenance teams to test avionics systems before each flight to ensure the safety and optimal performance of the aircraft.
Monitoring technological innovations:
- Stay informed of new technologies and avionics equipment updates to maintain aircraft at the highest standard of safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- DEC in avionics or the equivalent;
- Five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Ability to acquire a RAIC and a RAIC card, essential;
- Knowledge of AMOS;
- AME E;
- A330 endorsement and/or A320 family is an asset;
- Demonstrated ability in avionics techniques;
- Team spirit, resourcefulness, initiative;
- Bilingualism (English, French)
