Job Overview
FTAI Aviation is seeking a skilled Electromechanic holding an electrical certificate (CE) to support the maintenance, calibration, and reliability of production equipment and facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery and complex electromechanical systems, troubleshoot electrical and PLC-controlled equipment, and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established standards. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
This is an evening shift position.
Compensation
The starting salary range for this position is $30.73 to $43.47 per hour, commensurate with skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training, time, and career progression, hourly compensation may increase to a maximum of $51.21. Employees working the second shift receive an additional shift premium of $1.15 per hour. This position is also eligible for overtime. Employees who maintain a valid electrical certificate (CE) may be eligible to receive an additional $1.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks on machinery, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, and facilities according to written or verbal instructions.
- Calibrate select equipment using approved standards and procedures.
- Participate in troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical equipment.
Qualifications
- Completed recognized training or have equivalent experience in the trade.
- Holds an Electrical Certificate license (CE; formerly License C), or is actively in the process of obtaining it.
- Can troubleshoot and repair production equipment and utilities.
- Has Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Performs all work of the trade in accordance with approved standards and documented instructions.
- Uses appropriate tools, methods, techniques and equipment necessary to perform a variety of maintenance and select calibration tasks.
- Possesses sufficient knowledge of materials, specifications and blueprint reading to accomplish assigned tasks.
