Required skills and qualifications
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in office administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience;
- Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
- English proficiency will be considered an asset.
Working conditions and benefits
- Temporary replacement of a minimum duration of 3 months with possibility of extension;
- Work schedule Monday to Friday, 35 hours/week;
- Hourly wage between $29.32 and $35.58;
- Regional disparity premium between $166.15 and $221.04 per pay period;
- Reimbursement of moving expenses;
- Comprehensive benefits plan.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review calls for tenders and addenda and ensure compliance with current procedures;
- Monitor postings in the government's electronic tendering system (SEAO) and on the Corporation's website;
- Prepare meeting files (notices of meeting, agendas and minutes);
- Draft, proofread and format various documents;
- On request, assist with business travel arrangements (itinerary and travel planning, hotel and meeting room reservations);
- Open and file records under their responsibility;
- Manage bookings and maintenance of the Matagami office vehicles.

The James Bay Development Corporation (SDBJ) is a Quebec Crown corporation fully dedicated to the economic development of the James Bay territory. Its mission is to promote, from a sustainable development perspective, economic development, the development and the exploitation of natural resources of the territory, other than the hydroelectric resources under Hydro-Québec's mandate. It may initiate, support and participate in projects aimed at these objectives.
