Responsibilities

  • Inspect aircraft structural components (fuselage, wings, empennages, landing gear) to detect any damage, wear, or corrosion.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn parts according to standards and technical drawings.
  • Perform welding, riveting, bonding, or assembly work in accordance with specifications.
  • Install new parts or structural systems to meet specific needs or modernization programs.
  • Adapt aircraft to new configurations or customer requirements.
  • Analyze maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance procedures.
  • Rigorously follow the instructions of engineers and supervisors.
  • Record all maintenance and repair operations in the appropriate logs.
  • Ensure all interventions comply with safety standards and aeronautical regulations (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, EASA).
  • Work in close collaboration with engineers, other technicians, and production personnel.
  • Report any anomaly or major issue affecting aircraft safety or performance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Recognized diploma in aircraft maintenance or aircraft structures, recognized by Transport Canada or any other accredited course;
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Rigor, attention to detail, dexterity, and autonomy;
  • Good ability to work in a team within a constantly evolving environment;
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in French or English.
