Main responsibilities

  • Performs inspection according to priorities and required sampling;
  • Uses the tools and gauges required for component inspection as needed;
  • Performs transfer operations in the ERP system;
  • Inspects according to the points and elements appearing on the inspection plans and participates as needed in meetings and interventions with suppliers;
  • Defines and maintains the visual inspection criteria and charts for our products;
  • Continuously maintains the inspection area impeccable;
  • Actively participates in team meetings;
  • Performs calibration of measurement equipment.


Approval of new components:

  • Performs validation of approval parts;
  • Keeps the register and inventory of approval parts up to date.

Processing, analysis and correction of non-conformities:

  • Ensures that non-conformity reports are adequately completed;
  • Documents and communicates non-conformities to suppliers;
  • Creates engineering modification requests when required.

Quality management system :

  • Ensures compliance with processes and procedures by carrying out audits;
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of the department and the company.

Sought profile


  • DEC in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent experience;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience;
  • Solid experience in a manufacturing environment in quality control;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Great capacity for investigation, analysis and synthesis;
  • Very good knowledge of reading technical drawing plans;
  • Good judgment;
  • Skilled communicator orally and in writing;
  • Good management of priorities and stress;
  • Structured, organized and rigorous;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Capable of making and assuming decisions;
  • Ability to express oneself in spoken and written English (asset);
  • Experience in CNC, CMM, welding (asset);
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods (8D, A3, 5 why, Ishikawa/5M, etc.).
