Sheet Metal Technician

Premier Aviation is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join its team in Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).

We are a leading full-service provider of airframe heavy maintenance, certified to maintain various aircraft types, including ATR, De Havilland, and Embraer.

The Sheet Metal Technician inspects, maintains, and repairs aircraft structures.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are detail-oriented, and wish to build a career in the aviation industry.

Salary: Up to $52/hour

Responsabilities

-      Troubleshoot aircraft structural problems

-      Adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft structures in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and procedures

-      Perform and report on routine maintenance

-      Identify and order materials according to company policies

-      Complete documentation in accordance with company procedures

-      Report any irregularities in maintenance work to the Quality Assurance Supervisor

-      Perform all other related duties as required

Candidate Profile

-      Recognized diploma in aircraft structures or another accredited course

-      S license issued by Transport Canada

-      Relevant industry experience

-      Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

-      Ability to work standing, at heights, and in confined spaces

-      Strong organizational and prioritization skills

-      Good judgment

-      Team-oriented mindset
