What you need to succeed

• Holder of a DEC or AEC in aircraft maintenance, DEC in Aerospace Engineering or a DEP in mechanical assembly.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, an asset
• Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aeronautics field, an asset
• Ability to perform various operations on computer systems (intermediate level)
• Good ability to work in a team (the majority of the work being carried out in a work team)
• Field of study: Aeronautics
• This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers or colleagues.

What will your daily life look like?

General Responsibilities

• Install the accessories necessary for its proper operation on the engine.
• Adapt the test bench to the type of engine and fix an engine to it, connecting the fluid lines and control and instrumentation connections according to work instructions.
• Monitor the readings displayed on the various computerized control panels to identify deviations and intervene immediately.
• Fill out various reading and test reports.
• Perform necessary adjustments during tests.
• Affix your stamp to testify that the tests have been completed according to standards.
• Perform a visual inspection of the external condition of the engine upon arrival at testing and upon leaving.
• As needed, wash, rinse and dry the engines, their supports and the test cell.

Specific Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new processes, products and rework for the choice of methods and tools.
• Take the necessary items from the stores and report issues and material needs to the manager.
• Maintain your equipment and work environment clean and in good condition.
• Participate in training and sharing your knowledge with your teammates on the various equipment and tasks.
• Perform other similar tasks of lesser or equal complexity related to the functions mentioned above.
