Holder of a DEC or AEC in aircraft maintenance, DEC in Aerospace Engineering or a DEP in mechanical assembly.

• Basic mechanical knowledge, an asset
• Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aeronautics field, an asset
• Ability to perform various computer system operations (intermediate level)
• Good ability to work in a team (the majority of the work being done in a work team)
• Field of study: Aeronautics
• This position is in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, blueprints, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers or colleagues.

General Responsibilities

• Install accessories necessary for proper operation on the engine.
• Adapt the test stand to the engine type and attach an engine to it, connecting fluid lines and control and instrumentation fittings according to work instructions
• Monitor readings displayed on the various computerized control panels to detect deviations and intervene immediately
• Complete various reading and test reports.
• Perform necessary adjustments during tests.
• Affix one's stamp to witness that tests have been completed according to standards.
• Perform a visual inspection of the external condition of the engine upon arrival at testing and upon leaving.
• As needed, wash, rinse and dry engines, their supports and the test cell.

Specific Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new processes, products and rework for the choice of methods and tools.
• Take necessary items from stores and report issues and material needs to the manager.
• Keep equipment and work environment clean and in good condition.
• Participate in training and sharing knowledge with teammates on various equipment and tasks.
• Perform other similar tasks of lesser or equal complexity related to the aforementioned functions.
