Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Measure and mark sheet metal in accordance with drawings and templates
• Cut, bend, punch, drill, or straighten sheet metal using metalworking machines such as stamping presses, punch presses, and numerical control equipment
• Grind and polish joints, seams, and rough surfaces
• Form various alloys according to drawing specifications
• Inspect the quality of products and installations to ensure compliance
• Maintain the workspace in a clean and safe condition.

Skills and Qualifications

• You possess at minimum a vocational diploma (DEP) in precision sheet metal work or tinsmithing sheet metal, OR Secondary 5 AND 2 years of manual experience in a manufacturing and/or construction environment
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Very good knowledge of aeronautical technical specifications (strongly considered asset).
• Quick wit and a developed attention to detail.
• Communication in French orally and in writing.
