International Internship in Corporate (VIE) is a unique program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finances, and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, which allows Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to acquire paid and rewarding experience abroad, in a technical or commercial profession.
The VIE program is a specific contract, under the eligibility criteria of Business France.
Main eligibility criteria for the VIE:
- Be a citizen of the European Union (plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein), and a graduate candidate aged 28 maximum (a V.I.E assignment can start at the latest on the day of the twenty-ninth birthday).
- Have fulfilled the military obligations of one's country.
- Be imperatively registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before turning 28.

The duration of a VIE is 6 to 24 months depending on the assignment location.
A VIE contract position as a "Methods Preparer" for a duration of 1 year (with the possibility of renewal for 1 additional year) is to be filled within Airbus Atlantic in Mirabel (Canada).
Within a team of about fifteen people, you will liaise with production to provide technical support to operators and master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Under the supervision of the Methods Manager (Preparation) of the G7500 and A220 programs, your responsibility will be to master the assembly phases of the stations to which you will be assigned, and you must anticipate associated risks. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.
Your Mission
- Develop and implement assembly methods, as well as operating sheets.
- Draft technical documentation and provide daily support to production teams.
- Analyze sequencing and industrial processes to support installations.
- Identify malfunctions and propose continuous improvement solutions.
- Manage industrialization and flow optimization projects.
- Ensure technological watch and integrate relevant innovations into processes.
Your Profile (What Will Make the Difference)
You have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position and in an industrial/production environment.
You possess knowledge in assembly processes and you can read/interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
You are recognized for your analytical, structuring, and synthesis capabilities.
You master office tools such as: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PLM, SAP, and Catia V5.
You possess excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, transversal communication, recognized autonomy, rigor, and proactivity.
Finally, you know how to express yourself fluently in French and at an intermediate level (minimum B2) in English.
