MONTREAL, CANADA--(Marketwired - Nov. 28, 2016) - (NYSE:CAE)(TSX:CAE) - CAE announced today that it has obtained its francization certificate from the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF). The announcement was made at a celebration attended by Mr. Luc Fortin, Quebec Minister of Culture and Communications and Minister responsible for the Protection and Promotion of the French Language; Mr. Robert Vézina, President-Director General of the OQLF; Mr. Marc Parent, President and CEO of CAE; representatives of senior management; union representatives and CAE employees.
"We are proud to have obtained our francization certificate, which demonstrates the commitment of CAE and its employees to French in the workplace in Quebec," said Marc Parent. "Aerospace is a sector where the working language is very often English, and obtaining our francization certificate would not have been possible without the excellent cooperation among the various groups of employees who worked together to achieve this goal."
The granting of a francization certificate attests to the fact that CAE, located in Montreal, complies with the requirements of the Quebec Charter of the French Language. The certification confirms that the French language is consistently and widely used at CAE and recognizes the best language practices implemented within the organization.
