What your daily life looks like

As a bilingual sales and customer service agent, you provide superior customer service by answering every call quickly, courteously, and professionally. You must also:

• Be a reliable source of information regarding flights, fares, destinations, and exclusive offers.
• Use Air Canada's internal reservation system to make new flight reservations or modify existing reservations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

Required skills and experience

This role is of vital importance for our customers' satisfaction. That's why we have a number of criteria to ensure your success:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to attend and successfully complete our approximately twelve (12) weeks full-time paid training
• Available to work shifts
• Strong communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems to help the customer
• Manage multiple tasks at once and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the country concerned at the time the job offer is made. The search for any necessary work permits/visas or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of the candidates for this position.

Language Requirements

Candidates must be fluent in English. Priority will be given to candidates who speak English and French. As Canada's most international airline, we would like to know if you speak one or more of the following languages in addition to English: French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Desired skills

• Proof of customer service experience in a call center environment
• Prior experience in the travel sector
• Working knowledge of computer applications and the Internet
