Electrical Assembler

EXPLEO GROUP CANADA is looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our team in Mirabel, Quebec. 

• Location: Mirabel, Quebec

• Work arrangement: On-site

• Compensation: CAD $32.50 to $38 per hour for employees, or CAD $41 to $48 per hour for subcontractors. The applicable compensation will be determined based on various criteria, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.

About the Role:

This role focuses on the assembly, installation, and testing of aircraft electrical systems and harnesses. The ideal candidate has strong electrical assembly skills, experience reading technical drawings, and a solid understanding of aerospace wiring standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret, and analyze the electrical and mechanical plans and diagrams of the assembly books.

• Manufacture electrical harnesses according to the requirements of the drawings, diagrams, and work procedures.

• Route, crimp, install, and secure wires, cables, harnesses, and equipment.

• Test the continuity and conductivity of the final assembly.

• Ensure quality control of manufactured sub-assemblies and electrical harnesses.

• Ensure compliance with standards and production rate.

• Other related functions may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• T.S.D. in Aerospace Cables and Circuits Assembly or;

• D.C.S. or A.C.S. in Technical Avionics or;

• Successfully completed an electrical fast-track training or;

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an aircraft electrical assembler obtained within the last 5 years.
