What your day will look like

You will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing, verifying and handling engine parts to create repair checklists in accordance with work instructions and manuals.

Specifically, you will:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections to validate parts conformity
  • Set up and use precision measuring instruments
  • Manage parts and determine whether they are conforming
  • Use computer tools such as SAP necessary to properly manage parts

You will play a leading role in ensuring quality standards are recognized and met, and therefore will:

  • Verify that repair processes have been followed in accordance with specifications
  • Issue airworthiness certificates
  • Participate in training

What you need to succeed

  • College diploma in aeronautics or a related field
  • College diploma in avionics technology with relevant experience
  • College diploma in mechanical engineering
  • AEC in quality control from ÉNA
  • Experience in the aerospace field
  • Ability to communicate in French, both oral and written
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • This position is within a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
